Recognition Please!! >=[

And no, I'm not talking about materialistic goods, even though they have wayyy too much money and waste their cash on that.

I'm talking about recognition, and how they're 'too perfect' to get into trouble.

You've all seen the headlines "PARIS GOES TO JAIL!" and "STEVE IRWIN; TRAGIC LOSS" but my query is, what about the other people who die and go to jail?

Firstly, Paris Hilton. She's in jail for multiple speeding tickets and drunk driving warnings. Police drew the line. But the fact is; on June 27th, she's getting out of jail! Why is that you may ask? Because she's famous, and too good to be in jail. Now, don't you agree that if that were a "normal" person he or she wouldn't be freed? Because that person isn't famous, that's why.

Secondly, I would like to talk about Steve Irwin's death. We all know it was from a stingray, and we all acknowledge it was tragic, but there's alot of people who die from sharks, stingrays, old age, people murdering others and many, many more. But the fact is, Steve Irwin got ALOT more recognition than them. About a couple of years ago, my neighbour's father had died from a car crash and the night before the house had been broken into. It seems that nobody cared! The only people who knew was the mother's family, the father's family, their 3 young boys and the people in the street. It was extremely sad, yet nobody really seemed to care. He didn't get put on the cover of every magazine. He didn't get the first page in the newspaper. He didn't get any of the things Steve Irwin got, except a funeral. Now that really annoys me, because my neighbour was a great person and deserved more than what he got.

Well, that's all I have for now. But I would like to say before finishing, that most of you bloggers out there have probably had someone close to you die, and only about 10% of them had their death's acknowledged by the public. A small article in the newspaper may not be everything you bargained for, but at least it's something and people know that whoever you were close to was a great person.
